Come and join us for a Social Run to celebrate Marathon Day 26/2.

Starting and finishing at Hamilton Panther's Clubhouse on Knavesmire Road we will have 4 different 10k loops taking in different parts of York.  You can run 1, 2, 3 or all 4 loops.  You decide on the day how far you want to run. There will be a bespoke medal and goody bag for all finishers as well as homemade cake.

There will be refreshments, cake and food at the clubhouse. 

What is a social run?  It is a non-competitive run with friends. Although we will provide route details and a downloadable gpx file, runners/walkers will self navigate.  Everyone will start with the 10k route through York, so this will give you the opportunity to have a chat, see the sights and take some pictures. It is an excellent opportunity for a low key training run for those aiming for a spring marathon or to complete the full marathon for those who would like to. What a fantastic way to earn a medal too!

There will be no cut-off times but the runs will be timed, results will be published and for those working towards 100 marathons, the marathon will count. Miles will also count towards the SYRY 100 mile club.
