Come along and be part of a low key event to test out a new route and facilities in York.

The course goes around the outside of the Knavesmire on cycle paths, through Knavesmire Woods and along trails to complete a 3.1 mile loop.  The route completely avoids the service track.

It's a 6 hour running challenge and you can run as few or as many laps as you wish within the 6 hour limit. All runners, no matter how many laps they have run, will receive a goody bag and the choice of a lucky dip medal from a previous SYRY event.

For those wishing to run half marathon it will be 4 laps plus an additional .7 miles out and back to make up the distance.  For those wishing to run marathon distance it will be 8 laps plus an additional 1.4 miles out and back to make up the distance.

Race HQ will be Bustardthorpe Changing Rooms on Racecourse Road (at the back of the Racecourse).  Free parking is available on Racecourse Road.

Like our other events it is cupless.  Please bring your own bottle or cup and we will happily fill and refill this for you with squash, water or coke on the day.

Registration and bib collection will be on the morning of the race.
