Come and join York's festive trail run, back for its 7th year. It's a 5 mile trail run and comprises 2 laps of woodland, fields and riverside views!       

The course is suitable for first time trail runners and experienced runners alike.        

The event will be chip timed.        

Fancy dress is encouraged but it is not compulsory. There will be a prize for the best fancy dressed runner.        

We will also be hosting our popular family fun run  before the main event (10.30 start) and this will be a 1 mile on grass.  Parents/friends are welcome to run along with younger runners, but must enter the event if they would like to earn their own medal.  Timing of the events will allow parents to complete the fun run before taking part in the main event.   

There is a bespoke medal for all runners (fun run and 10k), a goody bag and homemade cake and festive treats for all finishers.    

Minimum age for the 5-miles is 15 years, no age limits for the fun run.        

Hot drinks will be available for sale.

Final race information will be e-mailed out to everyone the week before the event and race registration and bib/chip collection will be on the morning of the event.
